Anya Hindmarch’s new collection inspired by old London

2 Feb

“I’m obsessed by all things London,” says accessories designer Anya Hindmarch.

So much so that her Spring/Summer 2012 collection was presented at the old and abandoned Aldwych tube station on The Strand and was inspired by lost and found objects.

One of the key pieces of the collection, the Bruton bag which Anya designed after discovering an old Doctor’s bag deserted on the London Underground.

A simple satchel shape, The Bruton is perfectly complemented by contrasting panels and trims and lined in the brands signature bow fabric.  It also has great detailing such as tassel pulls, a subtle enamel bow logo and quirky labelled interior pockets (“Lipstick”, “Music” and “Phone” being a few).

We think its gorgeous.
