Diane Von Furstenberg gets charitable

31 Aug

Since March 2007 when Anya Hindmarch launched her hugely successful “I’m not a plastic bag” canvas shopper in conjunction with the non-profit campaign group “We Are What We Do”, fashion designers have been clamouring to work with charities on iconic pieces.

The latest member of the club is Diane Von Furstenberg who has designed an image which has been printed on a canvas tote bag.

The limited edition shopper features a bold portrait print with a kohl rimmed eye and bright red lips and it has been donated to the Whatever It Takes campaign which raises money for worldwide charity projects. DVF_shopper

Diane joined the likes of, Claudia Schiffer, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney who have all previously donated art to the charity.

At £14.99 it is more than double the price of Anya’s original but is set to be a sellout.
